David Goss 17 December 2010 For those who are questioning why, if you wanted something specifically for iPhone, you wouldn’t just build a native app, there are a couple of reasons. To build a native app, you have to build it in Objective C. If what you want can be achieved in HTML, CSS and JS, then why go to the trouble/expense of getting it built as a native app? (Although to be fair, if you want to charge some money then that changes things) Also, to publish a native app, it needs to be approved by Apple. The content you are delivering could be outside the approval requirements. So, I’d say it is a valid article, but that media queries is a different discussion.
