The idea is good, I agree with it and even tried it and it came out (http://cybernoxa.pl/projects/ah/) but one of
the annoying things is (resuming it’s logical, but FF doesn’t behave like that) that using rgba on borders makes corners look ‘not nice’ under webkit browsers.The semitransparent borders are overlapping and if you have ‘border: 10px solid rgba(255,255,255, 0.3)’ the corner are 0.6 opaque I think + bg color if you have one :/ – you won’t notice it on thin borders.
Anyway i agrre with Byron some dividers, bg-patterns, bg-images – photoshop is necessary.
