Grant 23 December 2009 Perfect article Andy. At first I thought that this would be some crazed controversial rant but instead the only crazed part is some of the comments from readers who don’t get it. The vast majority of clients don’t check in multiple browsers because most don’t know what a browser is, let alone that are different ones. Then it us up to US to educate our clients on the ways if the web, IF, and it is a big if, they comeback to comment/complain. After all they hired us because we know the web. There should be more design like this, and we should be pushing the boundaries with HTML5 and CSS3 because this will encourage all browsers to implement faster. If we just sit back with “what is mainstream now” then that’s where we will stay. Bravo Andy. More power to you.
