Maybe the title of this post should be “Have a Field Day with CSS3 Forms” instead.

You just used the new doctype and the “placehoder” attribute so there’s not particular benefit (and difference) respect a normal XHTML1.0 Strict document.

HTML5 provides new input type elements, not supported by any browser yet. When these input will be implemented we’ll have great fun for sure.

Anyway, it’s always a good example of what we can achieve on modern browser unsing css3
