bingeyboy 10 February 2009 I’ve noticed that pngs sometimes cause IE6 to crash. I’ve been going through and trying to find the root of the problem. The page is validating 100% xhtml strict. It seems to be related to jquery and having large pngs on the page. I comment one out and it works. My solution for now is to replace the larger pngs on the page with gifs or jpgs…. less than ideal considering the design I was given. I have worked with many different types of pngs hacks and this is the first time I have come across this issue. For those that might say it was my jquery code… even the link alone to google for the lib link was causing the issue. I know this makes little sense but what else can you expect with ie6.
