Now this is the type of tutorial that really explains a better user interface. I can say for sure that this is the next thing to “Rules” of user interface. If you can’t make the user want to do it then you have fail and that usually results in a bad reputation. I would institute a couple of these ideas pretty soon, like the Pownce gender selector. I mean if you can’t let the user laugh a bit or be funny with it then they already aren’t having the best experience they can at your site. Its all about the user.
