I’ve been working on something similar recently, and I’ve discovered that if you set the line-height in pixels, most browsers will still scale it proportionally along with the text. As IE6’s numbers fall off, I hope we can leave all this black magic scaling math behind and go back to setting font sizes in pixels and letting the browsers handle the scaling.
