Pete B 11 December 2012 While simple images and iconography can use scalable vector formats like SVG Exactly, and this accounts for a lot more images on an average page than people seem to give it credit for. At this moment SVG has excellent support (even in IE) and hardly anyone is using it. Why? Instead we seem to have got tied up in knots trying to invent a scalable bitmap.
