I wouldn’t mind a “float: center;” to compliment left and right.
Also, I’ve had a few times where I wished that css could do simple math that looks a bit like this: “width: 100%-.5em;” (when used with a .25em border). That would allow greater control of the box, especially if the margin is set to “0 auto” for centering.
