When I started looking more carefully at coding front-end and making sure a site works flawlessly with or without Javascript, this was my first change. It makes a site a lot friendlier across the board and more professional as you can offer a different visual alternative other than a blank space or “map does not compute” error.
I’m surprised more people haven’t thought about this?
Though one thing I didn’t think about that Drew pointed out was to use the static map outside a <noscript>. Thanks for pointing that one out.
