I half agree with this article. When working with HTML and CSS I can’t design graphics… and I can’t just apply images into HTML if “I don’t see the whole picture”.
I don’t design in photoshop because of the client, but because of my self. I like to have determine where content will end up before going into HTML.
I can move one block of content from one end to another in 2sec… with HTML It could take me an hour (if I would have to break the grid).
But I guess I is not really necessary to work either way – we should work as it works best for us.
