Ross Bruniges 01 December 2009 You can get this working with a gradient filter in IE but it only seems a good idea for static backgrounds. The second you start switching class names or animating your transparent elements the browser slows down to a crawl :( Still think it’s better to fall back to solid colour in these cases.
