i am using a local server, wamp, in combination with Prepros (or Mixture/Codekit) to do all the compiling, image optimization, css injection live reload stuff, cross device testing and other necessary project processing. I use Chrome developer and IDE tools for code inspection etc. Then i commit it to the project repository and it updates the live server.

Maybe somebody could explain why to use the Grunt style process workflow instead of a gui precompiler/process tool like Codekit, Prepros or Mixture? Perhaps i don’t understand why to use Grunt because of my lack of knowledge, so please, let me know.
