24ways has long been a source of practicable methods and ideas – “goodness” as the blurb calls it – that help us designers and developers in demonstrable ways.
While the picture element and srcset attribute are both not great they are an option. Between the rock and hard place that are either A) adopting a less than great tech or B) waiting for something better, I think most of us would choose – and indeed already frequently practice – option A.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have a deep-n-meaningful from time to time, but I’ve heard the opinions in this piece from so many angles already, I was hoping for something a little more useful.
