I think the point Peter was trying to make is that it could have been clearer that the article is aimed primarily at iPhone/iPod Touch developers. Either that, or supplement the valuable advice that’s already there with non-iOS-specific information. For example, background images overridden with media queries are not loaded in some browsers – Opera Mobile, Opera Mini, Firefox (desktop at least, not sure about mobile).
