I’d quite fancy a text stroke
and maybe a text pattern fill where the solid fill of the text is replaced either by a pattern – or even – negative space! – oh to dream :)
Variables were high on my list but I’m probably going to have to consider the use of SASS after the insightful comments by @Rupert.
