I’d love if Yahoo! dug into that study further and revealed why 2% of users have Javascript disabled. Are they paranoid about privacy/worms? Is their tech savvy friend playing a joke on them? If they’ve knowingly turned off Javascript, I doubt they expect to get the full experience anyhow.
Even if you don’t pity the users, you can do it for the semantics. Adding a static map seems like a great semantic improvement over an iframe. Thanks for the tip Drew.
