I think this is a fascinating approach.
While the debate will rage between p-shop fans and markup fans, the fact is that there is an axis, and that axis includes at one end of the spectrum people whose brains work better in code and sites that lend themselves to being protoyped in code, and at the other end is people whose brains work better in p-shop and sites that lend themselves to a highly visual/image oriented design.
Usage depends on what point of the axis your needs meet. I for one can think of many times when Meagan’s approach would save enormous amounts of time and, let’s be honest, money. But I can also think of scenarios where this would be completely unusable and the p-shop first method is a must.
Just another tool in our great big toolbox, folks! And I’m glad of it.
