I’ve read other articles on this topic and I’m not sold. Maybe this works if you are going to crank out yet another cookie cutter column layout (like every other blog site I’ve ever seen). Or, maybe if you were going to be adding content to an already created site that has an existing css structure.
This method of skipping on photoshop will ultimately only create more cookie cutter sites. I see way too many sites that are designed by “creatives” that look identical. The only differences are background colors and font size. Okay not literally the only differences, but pretty close.
There are probably a few talented beings out there that can go directly to code and produce some beautiful results. But I have to believe this is a small number.
