This article has made me feel really good. I generally have started with markup and designed from there. I’ve always felt guilty about it, but it was a necessity for me since I do not own Photoshop at home. Furthermore, I’m more confident with CSS/HTML than I am in my graphic design abilities.
At work, the opposite occurs. I’m given a design and some image files and I code it up.
There are often changes in both workflows, but it makes me feel good that the former process isn’t necessarily “wrong”.
