Whilst Photoshop may have its flaws, there’s no denying its power. The work flow that this article suggests to me seems rather limited creatively.
You, as a designer, are already starting to think about the boundaries presented by the browser – rather than the concept your are trying to convey.
As others have said this approach is fine for smaller websites, but in my opinion taking this approach will lead to a deluge of identikit ‘rounded corner’ ‘drop shadow’ websites – something I thought were had progressed away from?!
