That’s an interesting argument and one that will always generate a debate!
In the new year I’m try some different wireframe software to see if there is a faster alternative to Photoshop.
However, I have to disagree with the following statement:
“I believe we shouldn’t have to design for the lowest common denominator (cough, IE6 users, cough); instead we should create designs that are beautiful in modern browsers, but still degrade nicely for the other guy.”
I create the design for my client – not my clients friends. More than likely the client will be using Internet Explorer – remember, IE stills covers over two thirds of the market. The “other guy” is my client and will most probably not be using one of those beautiful, modern browsers.
Merry Christmas to all the 24 crew – another great month guys and girls!
