Hi Kai,

That’s true, thanks for mentioning it. I didn’t mention the W3C developments directly but I did mention Mozilla’s Geode, which is one of the first usable implementations of the W3C work. It should be even more widespread in the Firefox 3.1 timeframe.

Hi nice article there,
I spend some time on the geolocation API’s available. The Google JS API loader also provides latitude and longitude. It can be used for browser not using the W3C navigator.geolocation object.

Google Gears has also geolocation features.
