    I agree whole heartedly. Especially with the CSS frameworks that exist (or ones we may have crafted ourselves), this is the way to go. You’re designing for the web, mock up using a tool that renders for the web.

    @Kevin Cannon- you’re comment makes it sound like you think advanced imaging is the only way to innovate with design, but There is a lot you can do with CSS, Javascript, and supplementary images. I strongly suggest you read Handcrafted CSS- it’s showing me a lot of cool CSS3 tricks I didn’t know about or haven’t really seen applied.
