    Personally, I play it safe; I stick with fonts that I <em>know</em> my users will already have on their computer, and use images for fonts that are less common. I don’t want to use the font embed until it’s more compatible. I believe that you cannot, should not, design for designers or for yourself; the majority of your users should be put first.

    I think that the solution presented in this article is a great one, though. Combining this article with the 19th’s article on optimizing font for embedding, I’m much, much more comfortable with trying out the new font embed, and looking forward to shedding my “play it safe” security blankie. Thank you so much for this. I think I’m falling in love with 24 Ways. :D
