I’ve used static maps and slippy maps, but had never thought to combine them. Nice and thanks.
It would be nice if there were a way to smooth the transition. I just viewed the example on a lowend high speed connection. The static map dissappeared a few seconds before the slippy map loaded. If I hadn’t been looking knowing what was going on I may have thought something went wrong.
