John, you are not the only one promoting CSS3 shiny buttons. Except I am evil and used a couple of superfluous divs for visual effects.

I also learned something new today with -webkit-gradient, thank you.

Bug in Chrome makes using border-radius and box-shadow together a bad idea

The button element is not supported by some mobile browsers at the moment (IE on WM6 for example) so I don’t like to use it. Could use input type=“submit” except Safari on a Mac does not want anybody else to control the look and feel right down to the text size. ( page 7 of 2006 button presentation )

Expect extra shiny “buttons” from me, especially using -webkit-transition for special effects.
